The Eco-Textile Conference 1.0, themed “EcoFusion: Where Textile Meets Sustainability,” was held on 2nd March 2024 at the Karachi Expo Centre. The conference brought together industry leaders, academics, sustainability professionals, and solution providers to discuss the future of sustainable textiles in Pakistan and beyond. Key discussions focused on sustainable textile industries, Industry 5.0, circular textiles, traceability, carbon footprint reduction, smarter production, international buyer expectations, and policies supporting decarbonization. Through expert-led sessions and cross-sector dialogue, the conference aimed to bridge innovation, compliance, and responsible growth across the textile value chain.
